Spartan GoCam cellular cameras use data plans for picture delivery. Either two or three Send Via options are available:
Video-enabled cameras (new in 2017; e.g., V4G):
Premium or Auto
Non-video-enabled cameras (e.g., ATTi/b, VZWi/b, VCTi/b, USCi/b, SPTi/b):
Auto, Lite (only on some models), or Premium.
Auto
Auto is the simplest method to deliver your pictures either as email or as MMS (text messages). However, it has the highest possibility of the photos being considered spam from the email receiving server. On non-video-enabled models, up to four email/text addresses can be used. Video-enabled cameras allow only one.
Lite
Lite (available only on some models of non-video-enabled cameras) allows you to specify your own email server to send pictures. For example, if you have a Gmail account, you can set the camera to route pictures through your Gmail account. Several popular email providers’ server information has been programmed into the camera so all you need to do is enter your email address and password from the camera menu.
Premium
Premium is the most flexible and reliable way to send the photos. In addition to being able to send photos to email and phone via text message, it sends photos to the Spartan Camera mobile app and the photos are also available on the Spartan Camera web portal, which you access using a web browser.
Premium service, which costs from $3-4/month, depending on how many credits (months) you buy at a time, stores pictures on the web portal for 30 days, allows you to change camera settings from either the portal or the mobile app, and offers many other benefits.
