Note that changing the camera description (name) does NOT put the camera name on the photo or info strip. It is just used on the portal and in the app to identify the camera. Nametag, if available, prints on the photo info strip.
App
- On the Camera Settings page, change the Camera Description. The Camera Description is for identification in the app and on the portal; it does not print on the photo info strip. Do not use an apostrophe in the camera description.
- Video-capable cameras also have a Nametag option. By default, it is the camera model, but you can change it to up to 8 characters of your choice. The Nametag will print on the photo info strip.
- Tap Update.
Portal
- On the Camera Management page, choose Manage Camera > Change Settings.
- Change the Camera Description. The Camera Description is for identification in the app and on the portal; it does not print on the photo info strip. Do not use an apostrophe in the camera description.
