If your camera has been working fine and suddenly stop working, the following are a few things you want to check before you contact Spartan Camera technical support team:
- Power. This may be caused by dead batteries. You can check the P level on the last a few photos you received, both day-time and night-time. The P level is located on the lower right corner of the image. P5 means the battery is good. But if you start seeing P3 or P1 or even P0, that means your batteries are about to die. Sometimes, you may still see P5 but keep in mind if P3 or below ever appears, it's the time to change the batteries.
- Data service. Please check your data service to make sure the data service is current. If your data service is expired, of course, the camera won't be able to make any connection and send the pictures.
- Premium credit. If you are using the web portal or mobile app, please make sure you have enough credit. Each camera, each month will consume 1 credit. If you set the camera up new, the first month is free so your camera will work for one month and then stop if you don't purchase more credit. Please click here for more information about the premium credit.
