beta version feedback?

I'm a former programmer who wrote and sold software in several countries. Sometimes I sign up for Android app beta programs as a way to get feedback to the developer before the product gets cast in stone and shipped.

I recently signed up for the Spartan Camera beta version. Got the update. Some things are better, some are worse... but unlike other beta programs, there's no clear way to send feedback.

What's the point of a beta program if you don't get feedback from the beta testers? Did I miss something?

Examples: Videos are always letter-boxed in landscape, no way to clear the play controls.

11 days and no answer!

Google's Play Store allows feedback that the public can't see when you're signed up for the beta program. But it's not clear anyone reads it.
