    I'm not sure on the status, I haven't gotten a date. Last I knew a few months ago the prototype was being worked on but I'm not sure on the finished product. I don't know if it will be soon or not.

    I’m hesitant to mention this because it’s not a Spartan product but Spartan doesn’t have a box right now. The old GoCam style open-faced boxes CamLockBox will fit the GL2. You do have to grind out an area on the top of the box (front cover, I think) for the antenna but the camera fits in the box. It’s not a perfect fit but it works. You can also use a Python lock although the thick Pro is a challenge to get through the holes so I use a slightly smaller one.

    I have not tried the new style boxes or the box with the bar across the front.
