4G using old SIM

    I'll be curious to see what your testing reveals. You may want to take the 3g antenna with you and see if that helps at all in the low signal areas.

    No such luck.  Zero bars where the newer 4Gs work but 3GS don’t.   I just set it up in a location that the 3GS work until I burn up the data on the buy a session sims and then I’ll switch sims to the 4g.

    The 4G cameras don’t work very well with the 3G SIMs. I found that out when I replaced some 3G cameras with 4G ones and used the 3G SIMs. Now a 4G SIM in a 3G camera will work. The 3G SIM in the 4G camera only allows the camera to get 3G signal.

    Was surprised it would send video, prob eats up battery.  Also surprised (or didn’t realize) how much stronger 4G signal is than 3.    Zero bars on 3G , can’t even connect to the network.  4g is 3 bars.  That alone is worth the upgrade.
