Infrared not working

My Go Cam's batteries were very low so I changed them.  Camera worked during the day, but at night all the pictures were black as if the infrared was not working.  Is there anything that would cause this?  None of the settings were changed and the camera has been working fine for 4 months prior.

  You can try defaulting the camera in it's menu. The ir cut filter may also have gotten stuck, turn it off and take the batteries out and give it a little tap on the side. You can see it in front of the lens during the day and at night it should move out of the way.
