Cleaning flash lens

Does the little web cover (GC-U4Gb2) covering the flash lens come off so that you can clean the flash lens better? it appears it does but I didn't want to start prying on it and break it.

  Yes it does. I forget if it's the left or right side but one has a little tab that you can pry over and it pops off. If it does break it's not a critical part, just for looks.
