Verizon GC-Z4Gb2 No data on sim, incorrect APN setting

This camera replaced my old 3g cameras that stopped working a little over a year ago. This camera has worked flawlessly for over a year. It has been turned off for around 2 months, I put fresh batteries in it today and turned it on. The message saying no data service on sim comes up along with check the apn setting. I spoke with a Verizon tech who did everything they could, and the sim is active on my plan. They even removed it and re-added it. No issues on their end they are saying. I defaulted the camera, tried the hello test but it fails immediately. Anyone else have a fix for this? GC-Z4Gb2 verizon service.

    That message means it's not connecting for some reason. You can try defaulting the camera in it's menu and I would also try a different SD card. It also can't hurt to clean the SIM contacts with a pencil eraser. If you have another antenna I would try that too. Is the cameras firmware up to date?

    I have a brand new GoLive cam.  I also get the same message after having Verizon activate the SIM card.  Did you find a resolution?

    Allen, how long ago did you activate it? Sometimes it takes Verizon a little while.

    Did you check with Verizon to make sure that everything is good from there end? Make sure they added it as a connected device (like a tablet). Also what SD card are you using, it needs to be a class 10, 80mbs or faster and a full sized card, not a micro in an adapter. You can also try defaulting the camera in it's menu.

    Can't hurt to change or at least format the SD card too

    Did you guys ever figure out the issue? I just went to put mine out this morning and this happened. This camera has been active for 2 seasons with no issue and now this. Manually updated firmware, tried different sets cards, my next guess is trying to see if the SIM card had something happen I guess?

    Zach, you loaded the firmware update on an SD card and updated the firmware that way? What model camera is it?
