New App Presentation?

Well, it a eems the update ruined a good thing.
Now I'm getting all these old pics labeled as New, yet every time I look at them or delete them - they still say New after a Status Report runs.
I also see my video requests are not creating video - not on the app nor on the website Camera Management section - even though the History says the request has been completed.
Finally - the little button on the app to initiate the picture download is gone - how do I do this now?
Very frustrating at the height of spring activity that changes are made that reduce camera functionality by more than half! -
Bradley, once the pics download just mark them as all viewed the first time and then don't delete them, let the app delete them. That will eliminate a lot of the things you are seeing. The app automatically deletes any pictures and videos that you don't save after 30 days. How many cameras do you have and is the videos not coming in happening on more than one of them (if you have multiple cameras)?

12 cameras.....
Looks like last video showed up on the 12th, even though I made multiple requests yesterday - and the status shows Complete - yet there are no videos in the app nor web.
Do you know how to promot the download of photos? The little button for each camera that used to be in the app is gone. I don't remember how to attach pictures or I'd include a screenshot of the dead space.

Anyone else having issues viewing pics with the new app? For some reason whenever I try to view the pics on one of my cameras it always just sends me back to the home screen but when I click on the pics on the other camera it works just fine. I've tried logging out and back in then uninstalled then reinstalled app nothing work.

I'm also having issues since the recent update(s). I've got one camera, set to video mode. Should send a video every two hours plus when activated. Worked well prior to the update. My normal procedure is to view them from my Android phone, and/or on my desktop (assuming the website). Now videos come in sporadically at best, and if i delete on my phone they sometimes delete, sometimes don't, and sometimes reappear. Also deleting from my phone now also deletes on my desktop. And deleting from my desktop removes file from my phone. All these issues seem random, but all started with the new update

Unfortunately, deleting a photo or video from either the app or the portal (web site) deletes it everywhere. I’m not fond of that “feature” at all but apparently it’s necessary with the new download method.
If this is Android, have you tried the beta version (you join on the Play Store Spartan Camera Management app page). Also, have you tried clearing storage/cache on your phone (in your phone settings, not the app settings, choose App, then the Spartan app, then Storage).

after ready this post I cleared the storage/cache for the Spartan App from my phone. it was only an hour or so ago, so we'll see what happens. I'm also attempting to join the beta version - again did this about an hour ago, but it's still adding me. I'll give it a bit more time, then if needed stop the join and resubmit my request.
sometimes when deleting a file on the website, it deletes on the app, but reappears later.

took a couple hours, but finally was able to update to the beta version. though my issue with only receiving random files began after the update, I think I'll replace my SD card and see what happens. About a year ago I stopped receiving info - removed and re-installed the SD card and that issue cleared up. Always a chance the card's not playing well with the new software update

The app and SD card have nothing to do with each other. However, it is certainly possible that you are having an SD card problem. Here’s some info on diagnosing that.
