Curious to know if anyone else has issues with battery life with their go cams. I recently put a cam out and after 3 nights the batteries are dead and the cam has stopped sending pics/videos. I have had same issues with multiple go cams at&t and verizon. I did get quite a few pics those nights but pretty ridiculous 12 AA lithium batteries only lasts 3 nights? I have purchased solar kits for a couple cams which helps but cant afford to put solar kits on all of them, and cant afford the batteries or gas to swap every few days. Thanks in advance!

  What are the camera models and how many pictures are you getting in that time?

  Should be much more than that. Make sure that power save is turned on in the camera settings in the app. Also make sure that your firmware is up to date.

  I have the same issue with one of mine. Brand new last year and I quit using it because it would burn through Vexilar type lead acid 12 volts in 3 days taking 20 pictures. I had all the settings correct as they were the same as my other 6. It's getting sent in finally.

   GC-G4Gb-MO (Verizon).  Mine are rechargeable 'eneloop pro'.  The status reporting on those is a whole other issue.  I leave it out for about a month at a time.   800-900 pics + 10 second vids (it was a construction job).

  Dan, rechargable batteries are a lower voltage than alkaline so it throws the battery meter off a little bit.

  Fully charged starts at 3 bars (P3).

  John, firmware is up to date and power save mode is on on all of my cameras.

  Only other thing I can think of is maybe SD card. Lithium should give you more than a couple hundred pictures. What do you have the cameras set to, photo or photo +video or video?
