Ghost cam not sending videos

    Is the Ghosts firmware up to date? That's pretty low with signal strength and could be the issue. Are you using the factory antenna? Did the camera ever send videos in this location regularly? Are both cameras the same carrier?

    Yes, the firmware is up to date.
    Factory antenna is installed.
    The camera is in a new location , and hasn't had a problem with sending new pics. I've tried 4times on different buck for videos and it always times out. Of the 4 HD pics 1 came in. I am running the Ghost cam on ATT. The Golive is a verizon cam. They are approximately 300yrds apart.

    That definitely sounds like a signal issue, I'm thinking that Verizon may have a better signal quality than the ATT in your area. There are upgraded antennas that you could try. One thing you can do is turn the camera off and back on to set up, once it finds signal use the app to request an HD picture and a video then press the OK button on the camera to take a picture and then press it again to send the picture. Watch on the screen as the camera sends the picture and then watch as it tries to send the HD and hopefully video, pay attention to what it says and whats happening on the screen.

    10-4. Will do. I'm sure it's just a signal strength issue . I usually use Verizon but when I order the cam it wad a ATT cam. I'll try your instructions, if it fails , I'm going to pull it, bring it back home , try it there. Signal is 100% . We see what happens. I'll keep you informed. Thanks

    It could be a bad SD card (although I think you get a failed after 3 tries message). Try formatting the SD card from the app. If the format works, you’ll get a pic with an F on the info strip. It’s at least worth a try.
