When I select all days it shows as the individual days marked as well. You can try the following steps if you want to and see if that helps.

Go into the phone settings (not the app) and go to apps and the Spartan app. Click on storage and you'll see a box to click to clear the cache and another to clear the data/storage, clear both of those and then uninstall and reinstall the app. Before the app opens clear the cache and data/storage again and then open the app and log in. You should be good to go now.

When I go into my phone settings (iPhone 13 Pro) and select the Spartan App, the 5 choices are: Photos, Siri & Search, Notifications, Background App Refresh and Cellular Data. I do not see the option of Storage.

I'm sorry, I was thinking Android. For iPhone you can just delete and reinstall

    John,
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I deleted the app on my iPhone and reinstalled. When I went to “Trigger Settings: Work Day, all of the choices were selected. I’m guessing this is the default setting. I then turned off all individual days but left “All Days” selected and checked another camera. When I came back to this camera and selected “Trigger Settings: Work Day, everything was selected. Makes sense. Thanks again! First time using this forum and am impressed! I’ve called with several questions regarding my 2 GoCams and couldn’t be more satisfied with the help I received. Keep up the good work!

    John,
I spoke too soon. When I deleted the app and reinstalled, it had saved the Trigger Settings: Work Days (All Days + each individual day was selected). I have tested the camera multiple times now and this is how it’s operating: if you only select “All Days,” motion is not detected. If you select a specific day, for instance, today being Tuesday, motion is detected. If you select each individual day, not to include “All Days,” motion is detected. Or, if you select “All Days,” and all remaining individual days, motion is detected. Selecting “All Days” but having to select all remaining individual days, in addition, for motion to be detected seems quirky to me. This camera has only been tested and has not been in operation. It works but this doesn’t make sense. I need this in operation a.s.a.p. Would you recommend purchasing another and returning this camera or keep it and accept what’s starting to appear as a flaw in the camera? Thanks.

I don't think it's a flaw in the camera, maybe it's something with the app. I just want to be clear, you need the camera working 7 days a week correct?

At present, I’ve planned on 7 days a week. I could see a time when I only want select days, which appears to work. Not nitpicking, just doesn’t seem logical. I’m planning on putting it in operation. While waiting for your response, I tested distances. I have a stake in the ground at 25’, 50’, 60’, 70’ and 80’. The GoLive is temporarily mounted on the same tree as the GoCams were tested recently. It is level and I have it tilted slightly downward with a shim, as I did the GoCams, so that there wouldn’t be wasted background, ie., tree tops and sky. I’m getting 55’ max with the GoLive, whereas I got 70’ max with the 2 GoCams. The last part of the day the 2nd GoCam was being tested, it picked up my car driving down the driveway (past the 80’ stake). When I returned and measured the distance between the 80’ stake and the driveway, it was 33’. It had captured my car at 113’ which was quite impressive! A little disappointed that I’m only getting 55’ with the GoLive under my he same conditions. Just leaves me to wonder if there is something going on with the motion. I’ll respect your experience/advice.

How about posting a pic from that spot from a GoCam and the GoLive. Position is critical and it varies from model to model.

The GoLive has a slightly different detection zone so you may have to play with the adjustment a little bit. Remember a car gives off a large heat signature so it will trigger the camera at a much greater distance than a person or animal. When the cameras are in set up the light on the front blinks when the camera detects motion so you can use that to help with the aim adjustment. I think once you figure out the difference in detection sweet spots you'll find the GoLive out detects the GoCams.

As for the work days schedule, the camera is fine it's just an app thing I'm sure, possibly firmware but I wouldn't worry about anything being wrong with the camera and how it functions.

I actually just checked with one of my GoLives and once the works days are turned off they do not automatically go back to on when the all days is selected.
