Signal quality is fair to poor

My signal quality was fine in same location for two weeks and would receive pics and videos with no issue. Now all of a sudden the signal is fair to poor. Do I need a new antenna or just move the go cam

    What camera model? If it's a GoCam then the last update changed the way the camera reads the signal strength. Instead of signal strength it reads signal quality, it's much more accurate. The camera is still getting the same signal it's just interpreting it differently and appears lower on the meter.

    Not sure what you’re saying about update? Poor signal quality means i have to move my camera? Was the new update in the last 2 weeks? Cam worked great until then

    Yes it was, before the update the camera showed signal strength which could be inaccurate, now the camera show signal quality. The signal getting to your camera didn't change just the way it's presented on the app,and has no affect on you getting pictures. Did the camera stop sending them?

    Very sporadic and video requests time out. I updated the sd card. Seem to get status reports instead of photos.

    If you are getting status reports and no pictures that's usually a sign of a bad SD card. Try formatting it and see if that helps. If you format through the app you should get a picture with an F on the bottom of the info strip when it's successful.

    Just an FYI, the camera sends a status report with every picture or video.
