That should be all you need for the camera. I'm sorry but we don't have a charger at the moment.

    Hi,
I have found a battery charger that will work. I’m considering purchasing the GoLive Solar Kit w/battery (15W w/ appropriate bracket) because my needs/location of the camera might change in the future. The kit is the better buy. I see where the quick aim mount is optional. I have also learned that the mini stealth mount will work as well. Is there an advantage to the quick aim mount vs. the mini stealth mount? Is the 5% discount still available? I saw it while shopping yesterday but not now. If so, what is the code? Thanks.

Not sure on the discount, the larger mount gives you a little more flexibility but either works. I think you'll be surprised how well the panel works even in the woods with a lot of trees so you may start using it right away. I have  Golives that have been out for years with just the panel and no battery.

Ok, so I could just order the solar panel to keep the internal battery charged. There will be shade but if it works as well as you’ve seen with your personal cameras, that would be awesome! If ordering just the panel, I guess I could always order the battery and battery box, if needed, at a later date? I know the AA’s that are currently in the cam would not be charged but should I remove them before connecting the solar panel, or could they still be a backup? Thanks in advance for your patience and willingness to share your experience. It’s appreciated!

How many pictures a day are you expecting and how far away is the camera? I would remove the batteries from the camera if it was mine.

Not expecting that many pictures. Just wanted to see if I should remove them prior to connecting solar panel. If I understood your earlier message correctly, I only need the solar panel to directly charge the internal battery? If, at a later date, I decided that a 12v battery/box were needed, I could add them.

You don't have to remove the batteries but I would. Yep, all you need is that panel and it will charge the built in internal. If you decide you need more power down the road the battery box can be added.
