Verizon Signal Wide Variation
Ever since we installed the cam we have had a full, strong and consistent signal. We pay Spartan for Verizon service. About July, I noticed the signal was poor. Then I noticed it went from poor to excellent to OK. The camera is in a building and no one is moving around it. There is no damage to the antenna and nothing close to it. I raised a ticket to Spartan and asked them to check with Verizon as they won't talk to me. I don't have an account with them.Spartan does. Spartan closed the ticket and basically said not our problem. I was planning to add a second camera but now having second thoughts. Anyone else experience this?

Signal can change drastically, it could be leaves on trees or even the carrier prioritizing different areas throughout the year. There really isn't much that can be checked unless there is an outage. It also could be that Verizon is getting rid of their 3g service this year and making big changes so you may have been getting fluctuating signal while work was being done. Are you having issues with the camera sending or just noticing the signal changing? What is the camera model and what is the firmware date showing on the status report.
