SD card/Firmware

I’m getting an SD card image in the lower left hand corner of the pictures taken on one of my GoCams. Status report says, “Error detected with SD card.” I tried formatting it but it will not format. Also, under Firmware, it says unavailable. Taking pictures but what should I do?

  Keep trying to format until it formats or you get to the camera to replace it. What is your camera model and what is the current firmware date? You may be getting the unavailable message because of the SD card issue.

  Camera model is GC-Z4Gb2. Firmware 2023/09/15. I’m going to replace SD card when I have an opportunity. Perhaps it’s all related.

  Your firmware is current so that's not an issue. After you change the SD card it will probably say "firmware up to date" rather than unavailable.
