Ghost Camera Case

Hello Everyone,

I know this is a shot in the dark but you never know until ask.

I had a camera that was exposed to fire and it melted the front case.  I have taken it apart and all the electronics appear to be good.  I was throwing this out there to everyone in case someone might have a front case or camera that they are not using that I might could have to try and get this camera back up and running. This could be a camera that might not be working for you anymore due to water damage, ants, etc. etc.  If someone does have one they are not using for whatever reason I would love to try and get the I have back up and running.  I have contacted Spartan and they do not have any.  They have always been very helpful to me when I have had issues but this is something that is not common.

If anyone every has a ghost camera die or something happen to it please don't throw it away I can use the case to try and get this one going again.

I know this is not very likely but you never know.

  If you are on Facebook I would go to the Spartan camera community page and ask there, you'll probably have better luck.

  Took me awhile but I got it back working.  Couldn't find a new front so I patched up the old one.

  That looks pretty good, as long as it's water tight you should be good to go.

  Thanks,  It is water tight. I tested it the past few days out in the two day downpour we had.  It is dry as a bone.  It is semi pressurized when I try to open it so it appears to be sealing well.

  All the features appear to be working and good.  i have it hooked up to direct solar connection right now it that is working as well.  Got lucky on this one.
