Question about camera and solar panel.

If you have a solar connected to your camera. do you still have to put batteries in the camera?

  No you do not, on the Ghost and GoLives you can connect a 12v solar panel directly to the camera. With the GoCams you need the Spartan battery box with a solar panel attached to it because you can't connect a solar panel directly to a GoCam and it's also a 6 volt system.
