Disable GoLive Cellular Connection

I have a GoLive with a Solar Panel and 12 AAs but the current location it's in is not in cellular coverage.  Seems like the camera chews through the internal battery and the AAs in one night.  Is the camera always trying to find the cellular network and could that be the battery drain issue?  If so, is there a way to disable the cellular and tell it to just not try connecting?

  If there's no cellular coverage at all then you will probably want to turn off the live steam and turn off send mode from the app. If the cell coverage is just weak you can always try setting up batch send times.

  There's no way to do this from the camera?  If I have to use the app, then I have to hike in to get the camera, hike out with it into cell coverage, change the settings, then hike back to place it again...  seems like a great feature to add to the camera settings accessible from the camera.

  Yes, you can do all of that from the camera menu

  What happens to Scheduled Event 1 when i turn these options OFF? From the manual, looks like the camera will still try to send even though there's no cell coverage? Will it try once or keep trying and kill the batteries?

  If you turn send mode off in the cameras menu it should not try and send anything at all
