All kinds of issues!
Well I bit the bullet and bought a spartan(Verizon) trail cam. I have had it less then 24hours and I don’t see the value here.
1. I don’t seem to get any pictures in real time. They are all 30, 40 minutes after the picture was taken. I put it right next to my other camera. It took 3 pictures last night, when my regular SD card took 26??? Does it usually take 30 to 40 min to get a status report back from the Mobil app to the camera? Any help would be appreciated, I have 4 to 5 bars at all time and the communication just doesn’t seem to be what it should. Thanks

Which model camera (GC-what)? What’s the firmware date?
You should get pictures within a couple or three minutes, usually less.
I’m not sure what you mean by your “regular SD card”? Regular trail camera? Keep in mind that cell cams don’t take pics while they are sending, your other camera will just continue taking pics.
You mention a status report. You won’t get status reports or HD photo or requested videos until the NEXT time the camera contacts the server, which can be for a scheduled event or motion-triggered photo. It’s not instant.

The model is GC-V4Gb. It seems to be working a lot better during the day?!. I just watched some turkeys walk infor of it and I received the picture within 1 or 2 minutes.
I didn’t know, that while it’s sending the picture it won’t take another, but if it’s on 5s delay you would think it would take a picture every 5 seconds right?
I have it on pictures only? Would that matter on the sending side as far as speed?
I don’t know where to see what firmware I have?Jonny deer hunter I do have the WiFi off and auto download on.
Thank you guys for the continuing support, as of right now, I think it’s working right. I will update you after tonight. It just didn’t seem to take the pictures I thought it would have last night.
Thanks again.

If you have it set to take a picture every five seconds and it takes 45 seconds to send the picture then the fastest you will get a picture is every 50 seconds. I just made up the 45 seconds, you'll have to see how long it takes your particular camera to send. Signal strength and battery power have a lot to do with it. Also make sure power save is turned on in the camera settings.
