How to connect Spartan Go cam to my current AT&T phone plan?

Can I add my Spartan Go Cam to my current At&t mobile phone plan? My camera came with a Spartan Camera sim card and not a dataconnect. How do I go about adding it to my plan if possible? Thanks in advance for the help.

    I believe there is a way to add it to your plan but it usually works out cheaper to go through Spartan. You won't be able to do it with the Spartan SIM though I'm pretty sure. The Sim card should have come in a postcard like envelope with instructions on how to activate it.

    As Johnny says, you can add the camera to your AT&T plan. However, you will need an AT&T SIM, not the Spartan SIM.

    Adding the camera to your AT&T plan is probably the most expensive way to run the camera. Either using the Spartan SIM (which bundles data service with premium service so you can use the app and portal) or getting an AT&T bring-your-own-device SIM ($25/90 days/2 G; $45/180 days/2 G; $75/1 yr/4 G) and paying for premium service separately will probably cost less than adding the camera to your phone plan and buying premium service separately.

    You can, or online somewhere. Just make sure to get the correct size.

    If you go to an AT&T store, you may or may not have any luck. My experience is that they know less than nothing about session-based accounts (which is what the cameras use).

    You may be able to find an AT&T Bring-Your-Own-Device SIM at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or other similar store for about $10. I have bought several from ebay for less than that. Just make sure you get one that supports 4G, and it does need to be the standard SM size, not the two smaller sizes.

    Thanks again for all the help! One last question, is there a way to tell how much data you have used? I can't find anywhere to find out where I stand on data for the 3 month cycle, all i can find is how many pics have been taken.

    If you are using the buy a session plan it will show on your account. Not sure with the Spartan plan

    I don't think that there is a way with the Spartan plan. With BAS, just click the + by the device. Here's one of mine, which for some reason has a 13-month plan.

    Thank you for the very helpful information. Crazy they can't include something like that to keep up with data with the Spartan service. I bought a new dataconnect sim card yesterday on ebay for $2.75 so I am going to give that a try. Thanks again for all the help!

    Make sure that the SIM is a 4G SIM if you have a GC-A4G. If it's a 3G camera, it won't matter, but the A4G doesn't seem to "play well" with a 3G SIM sometimes.

    It is a 4g LTE sim so hopefully it will work. If not I am only out a couple bucks, lol. Thanks again
