Do you have premium credits? If you try and take and send a manual photo by pressing ok to take a picture while in set up and then ok again to send it what happens? Have you tried defaulting the camera in it's menu and then turning it off and back on?

Thank you for your response. Yes I have premium credits. I have tried defaulting the camera and turning it on and off. I took a photo in the setup menu and tried to send. It said Setting... and then Failed.

Have you double checked your data plan? Also go into the information screen on the camera and look at the IMEI number, first thing to check is that it's there, second make sure it matches the number on the sticker on the camera. What model number is your camera, GC-???

IMEI is there. IMEI matches the sticker. Model is GC-ATTi on the info screen, on the sticker it says GC-ATTb-KT (S158). I went to confirm my data plan and was unable to login to my AT&T data account for some reason. It appears this is probably the problem. Reset my data plan and now waiting to see if it will work, so far no communication with camera.

Is there a chance you put the wrong firmware on the camera? Maybe you put the atti firmware on it. Make sure your downloaded the firmware for the exact model number that you have.

    Brendon,

Can you see the lights on the front of the camera (ATTi) or is the flash covered with black (ATTb)?

Johnny may be on to something with the possibility of the wrong firmware.

Thank you both of your comments about the firmware. I wasn't 100% sure which one I used so I reuploaded the blackout one. (flash is covered in black and model is Attb). It looks like that was the problem. The camera will now upload pictures! It still won't update the status report if anyone has any ideas though.

Is it staying pending in camera management? Maybe try cancelling all pending commands and then request another. Remember you won't get the report until the camera checks in either sending a picture or a scheduled event.

It won’t update the status report unless you request one and then it won’t do it until the next time the camera contacts the server. You can force it by requesting a status report, then taking/sending a photo manually. If you don’t request one, it won’t update until the next scheduled status report, whenever that is.

Thanks. I canceled all pending requests and requested a status report. It wouldn't update but when I also requested a photo it did not update the status report main page but it did upload a status report under the command history. That should be good enough for my purposes.

If you are using the app, on the status page, there's a little circular arrow to refresh the info.

    That worked. Thanks so much.
