Where did you purchase your data from and what color is the front of the Sim card? Solid white or yellow/orange and white?

What color is the front of the SIM? Is it white with an AT&T logo and the big card it was in has Spartan Camera on a label stuck to it or is the SIM white with at least one other color (orange, green, blue) on it? If it’s a white card, it’s a Spartan Camera SIM, which must be activated at www.spartancamera.com.

If it’s a Spartan SIM and you’ve activated it on AT&T Buy-A-Session, log into your BAS account, look at the device, make a note of the phone number of the device, and call the 800 number shown there for billing questions. When the robo answers the phone, you want technical support and the key words are “session-based”. Don’t talk to anyone else!

Once you’ve gotten someone who knows something about “session-based”, give them the camera’s phone number and ask them to cancel the plan and refund your money.

When you’ve gotten the plan cancellation email, log onto the SC web site, SHOP > DATA SERVICE and buy a plan.

P.S. A more informative subject would be something like “can’t get my A4G to connect to service”

That's probably the problem then, the white card is a Spartan card and you need to purchase the data though Spartan. Instructions should have been on the packet that the Sim card came in. I'm guessing your already have an att Spartan camera since you used buy a session. What I would do is have the data you just purchased transferred to your other camera and this new plan cancelled and then get the data from Spartan. Then you should be all good to go.

EDIT: Liz and I must have posted at the same time, either of our suggestions should work for you.
