Cameras stopped working
I have two Spartan GOCAMS ATT Blackout cameras. Both have been working well since early September.
Both cams stopped sending pics 1/9/18
Firmware is current, Fresh Lithium Batteries, Class 10 SD cards, Premium credits current, Service plan current.
Both have the omnidirectional antennas to help with service being on the poorer side in my locations.
Went to one of the cameras and went into setup mode, took a picture and sent it manually, and that came through on my app, but in the time prior and after manually sending that photo, the cameras have been continuing to take photos but not send or update them to the app. They is also not doing status updates anymore.
Any ideas???
Thank you

That is very odd, I wonder if ATT switched some stuff around with the towers. Have you checked the portal to see if the pictures are numbered sequentially or if they all have the same number? Also make sure overwrite is turned on in the settings. Is your data through ATT or Spartan?

I have checked both my phone app as well as the online portal. Both Show sequential numbering of photos until time of the disconnect.
I will turn on overwrite this evening and try that, I know that option is turned off on both cameras because I never knew about needing to use that function.
My data plan is through ATT via the buy-a-session website.
Can I turn on "overwrite" via the portal or is it best if I manually do it on the actual camera itself?

Verizon 3g cameras will stop at the end of 2019, ATT hasn't announced a sunset date yet. If you look at the status report it should tell you available space left on the memory card. If you have easy access to the cameras I would actually format the memory cards and see if that helps, just remember you'll loose all the pictures on them. You can also default the camera in the menu and then turn it off and back on to see if that helps.

Ah, I didn't realize the cameras were that far apart. Really strange that they would both stop at the exact same time. If you would like to email me your online portal log in information (email or username and password) I can look and see if I can find something strange. My email address is johnny.lockburner@spartancamera.com
