New Camera won't connect to the att network

New camera will not connect to the att network. Have tried both the included spartan card and a new att sim card.

It searches then says check the sim card and the the screen goes black, probably a power saving feature but it will not wake up when a button is pushed, the only way to get it back on is to turn it off and back on.

Any guesses????

  With the Spartan Sim card did you purchase the data through Spartan?

  Haven't yet. It connected for a few minutes after I put the batteries in it, it showed 5 bars after that when it turned it back on and ran the diagnostics it tells me the system is busy.

  I'm assuming it will find the tower and give signal strength even though it wont actually send or receive any information. I could be 100% wrong on that.

  I've got the service loaded in the cart on the site, maybe I need to do that and see if it will find the tower and connect up.

  My main concern is the system busy notification.... all the diagnostics say system busy when they are run.

  You need to purchase the data first before anything else will work.

  My bad. I was assuming it would connect like it did at first but I assumed wrong.

  Now to get it to send me text.......

  I suggest using the app to get the pictures instead of text. Much more reliable and the app gives you full control of every camera setting. You also can't view videos through text
