To add to the above comment, making these requests from the web portal rather than the phone app seems to work.  I had about 5-6 fails from the App which were not processed following an event.  Changed the request to being made from the web portal and it worked following the first event.  Seems to be a problem with the App request.

I wonder if that's just a coincidence, the requests showed as pending correct? Is it possible the batteries might be getting low?

I’ve only requested one video in the last few days, from an ATTxb, no problem with it coming in.

Which model, V4G or Z4G? I’ve requested videos from my Z4G and both of my V4G but it will probably be midnight before anything comes in.

Z4G (newer one)  Batteries not low (3W  Solar panel w/ 4.5Ahr SLA), good voltage.  I've been away from home for a couple days and have attempted 5-6 times to request video using App.  No luck.  Got home this evening made the initial post here.  Following that deleted existing video requests made from App and replaced with one made from the web portal and in moments the video came in.  Could be a fluke, not sure.  Will test via App/Portal for a few days to see if this repeats.  Just curious with the post if there was a known problem with the app. Thx.

No problems that we know of Steve. Make sure power save is turned on too, that might help. Also double check that the time zone is set.

I have gotten 2 of the 3 videos I requested.

There will be a new version of the app within the next couple or three months.

I’m having the same problem. Requested several videos over the last few weeks and received nothing. I’ll try going to the website and see if I can request from there!

What does it say in camera management? Do the requests stay pending?

It says request pending but it’s been several dsys, and other pics have been recurved, but not the requested videos

What camera model? I know sometimes if the batteries are low it doesn't like to send the videos. You can also cancel the requests and then try requesting again. I would start with just a single request to see if that makes a difference..

    It’s a 2018 4g Verizon.

    batteries show good voltage.

i deleted the earlier requests and connected via the website rather than the app,and requested 2 vids and one HD pic.

They came through with my morning report today.

same device just not using the app!

it must be an app issue,as someone suggested in another chat.

Mark is it a Z4gb or a V4gb? Would you please try requesting a video though the app again and see if it comes through? If it doesn't send the video after a few pictures come in then cancel the request and try though the website. If it does work then then we'll have to get tech involved to see what's causing the problem.

I just requested a video from my V4gb with the app, had some trouble earlier in the week getting a couple of videos, but I'm not sure whether I requested them from the portal or the app. We'll see what happens.

Downloaded a video from the app on my V4gb with no problems. I HAVE noticed in the last couple of days a lot of signal strength variation with Verizon and this camera. My 3G cam never wavers from 3 bars of signal, and the V4gb used to always have 5 bars of signal, but it has been varying wildly the past week or so from 2 to 5 bars.

Steve is your firmware up to date? What size and class memory card are you using? It does sound like Verizon may be playing with the signal.

Yep, firmware is up to date, Sandisk Class 10 card, 32GB. I'm thinking like you, that Verizon has something going on that's messing with the signal. Had the V4gb for 2 years now, If I recall correctly, and it's NEVER budged off of 5 bars until the last few days.

Wouldn't hurt to check and make sure the antenna is snug

I'll check it out next time I'm there, it's 200 miles away and I won't be going back until I see that the corn level on the feeders are getting low.

Ok, another thought, any chance something might have broken the antenna? Did you get any pictures where something was messing with the camera?

Not since I was there last. I HAVE had what I believe was raccoons on it before, they even bit the external battery wire in half. When they're climbing all over the cam, it's hard to tell just what it is, but I've got tons of raccoons hanging around this feeder.

    Update

    my cam is a V4GB

    Firmware is -DSP:2018/01/11-14:0...

i cancelled requests last night, made via via the app,and requested a couple from the website, and they came in with my morning cam report.

ive got a 16GB Sandusky card if I remember correctly. The report shows 15.11 GB free space.

i got one video immediately after setting to video and requesting it,but probably 8 requests went unrolled.

    web request is no problem.

I cancelled requests and made another through site but have not received any pics for it to piggy back with , or a status report (3:00am is next) yet.

    Mark,

This won’t help you now, but I have all my cameras set to send either status reports or photos at midnight, 3 AM (takes care of the time changes), 7 AM. 9 AM, noon, 3 PM, 6 PM, and 9 PM. That way, I know every camera is going to check in every 3 or 4 hours. You may not need that on a busy camera but on cameras that see less traffic, it’s nice to know I don’t have to wait too long for a video or HD photo or settings update.

I’m also having issues going back as far as last month it just says pending request but they will not come in

I would cancel all the pending commands and then just request one and see how that works

    leeoneill2543,

Johnny’s suggestion to cancel all pending commands is the best way to handle this. I sometimes get away with cancelling the oldest command and then the ones stacked up afterwards will execute. Now if you try that and you’re still not getting videos, best to cancel all of them.
