    It is, but it’s hidden. Open the menu, then Camera settings. Go back home, then open the menu again and it should be there.

    The system checks to be sure that Real Time is ON and then the choice will be in the menu.

    How do you confirm real-time is on? I don’t see that on the camera settings

    It’s only available on the old 3G cameras. If you aren’t seeing it in the settings, your camera is probably not one of those models.

    You will have either the real time option or power save option. Real time is the older model and you will have the take a picture now feature. Power save is the newer model that do video and there is no take a picture now.

    Why would they remove such a beneficial feature?  There's gotta be a good reason for doing so, can someone elaborate why?

    We weren’t told, but I’m sure there was a good reason. Maybe it didn’t work reliably?
