Which model camera? GC-what? Is the firmware current? You’ve confirmed that you have premium credits?

Are you using the latest version of the app?

I'll get exact model of camera here soon. I have 7 credits left, the current firmware won't update. That's part of the problem. It's been pending update for weeks and the last update took months before it finally updated

If you have the app, the camera model should be listed on the status report page. I know it’s not convenient, but you may need to update the firmware manually the next time you go to the cameras.

What brand, capacity, class (4, 6, or 10), and size (standard or micro in adapter) SD cards are you using?

There are several models of 4G blackout cameras. That’s why we ask for the specific model. GC-what, please?

    What brand SD card?

How many bars signal on the cameras? The Vs are more sensitive to signal strength. Also, there have been firmware updates to improve connection so you’ll definitely want to update the FW. Cancel all pending commands. If the camera can’t honor the first command in the queue, it won’t move on to the rest. That may be why you are having problems with delayed requests.

That’s the latest FW. Please cancel the FW requests for each camera. That may be causing the problems if the request has been pending for days or weeks.

It told me my latest one was last August and there was an update to be had. So I clicked on the update and your telling me the one from August is the newest one?

I've changed the settings from picture to video about a week ago and that settings update is still pending to

The last one that I see on the web site is 8/2018. That’s the version that’s on my cameras.

If the FW update is still pending and you requested the settings update after that, the settings update won’t happen as long as the FW update is pending. Please cancel the FW update.

I’d recommend that you try photo + video rather than video only. You’ll get a photo and then you can request the video if the photo looks interesting.

Can you please explain “there was an update to be had.” Where did you see that?

It gives me the option to update that would obviously suggest (at least to me) that there is an updated version available.  If not then no update icon should be there.  To me that's simple stuff.

No, that isn’t a suggestion. I agree that the Update button should not be there, but that’s not the way it’s been. That aspect of the user interface is being changed, thank goodness.

Look at the date shown for your camera and the date shown for latest version. They’re the same.

I think that requesting the update has caused some of the problems. No other requests can be honored as long as the FW update is pending.

There shouldn’t be the option to update if the FW is current, and if you asked to update with the same version of FW that’s on the camera, it should have given you an error message. As I mentioned earlier in this message, that is being worked on.

If you mean the settings, that’s in the app when you choose the settings menu for each camera.

Well I hope that gets changed soon.  What about the late delivery of photos to the app?

Late deliver of photos. Did you check to be sure that your app settings are as shown?
