Taking hours for photos to show up in app and months for update to download.
About a year ago I purchased 2 4g black out camera. Over the last 6 months I've had multiple issues with the cameras. I will check the app for new pictures in the morning around 630. There will be no new photos. 10am I might check again and it will have photos from all night long all of a sudden. I'll check it at 9am one day and see nothing. Hours later I'll check it and there were turkeys in front of the camera at 815 that morning. I stood in front of the camera around 545pm. Nothing new on the camera until I was going to bed that night. It is extremely aggravating to have this happen over and over again.
Before anyone asks I have new lithium ion batteries with a 22ah 12v battery in a spartan external battery box plugged into it. There is full or almost full service on both cameras.
Also, multiple times I will have requested video, HD pictures or even qued a firmware update and none will go through. When checking the status of them it comes up with pending. It might be months later that one or two might come through. They both send status texts to me twice a day with nothing out of the ordinary.
Verizon service.
Extremely frustrated with these cameras. If one thing is advertised it should work, secondly if it is simple as clicking an icon to update something or request something then it should be done simply and quickly as well.
It is possible that I am doing something wrong. Either way it should be simpler if I am. I've barely changed anything on the system since I got it. Paid for everything like clock work. If it won't send pictures and update in a timely manner then it's just a very over priced regular trail camera that isn't worth its cost.

If you have the app, the camera model should be listed on the status report page. I know it’s not convenient, but you may need to update the firmware manually the next time you go to the cameras.
What brand, capacity, class (4, 6, or 10), and size (standard or micro in adapter) SD cards are you using?

How many bars signal on the cameras? The Vs are more sensitive to signal strength. Also, there have been firmware updates to improve connection so you’ll definitely want to update the FW. Cancel all pending commands. If the camera can’t honor the first command in the queue, it won’t move on to the rest. That may be why you are having problems with delayed requests.

The last one that I see on the web site is 8/2018. That’s the version that’s on my cameras.
If the FW update is still pending and you requested the settings update after that, the settings update won’t happen as long as the FW update is pending. Please cancel the FW update.I’d recommend that you try photo + video rather than video only. You’ll get a photo and then you can request the video if the photo looks interesting.

No, that isn’t a suggestion. I agree that the Update button should not be there, but that’s not the way it’s been. That aspect of the user interface is being changed, thank goodness.
Look at the date shown for your camera and the date shown for latest version. They’re the same.
I think that requesting the update has caused some of the problems. No other requests can be honored as long as the FW update is pending.
There shouldn’t be the option to update if the FW is current, and if you asked to update with the same version of FW that’s on the camera, it should have given you an error message. As I mentioned earlier in this message, that is being worked on.
