3g going away?

I have a older US Cellular camera 3g model. Im in need of another camera however I do not want to purchase one if 3g will be phased out soon. Is there any news on if spartan is making a 4g US Cellular model? Of if 3g is going away soon?

  The only carrier that has announced a 3G sunset date is Verizon.

  The current USCC model, GC-U4Gb, is a 4G model.

  Spoke to someone at att who said they’ll keel 3g through 2020.   The 4g cams have better reception and flash power.  Only downside is if you get the in-house att service it’s not as flexible as buyasession.
