There’s no way to locate one but you may be able to keep someone else from using it. Get the IMEI  (it’s on the status report at the top) then contact the carrier for the data and Spartan Camera. The thief or someone it’s sold to may contact SC to try to transfer the camera to their account.

Have you been to the camera site to verify it's been stolen? Maybe it's something else.

I guess there's a trip to the police and/or game wardens in your area. Please keep us posted on how this turns out and like Liz mentioned contact Spartan and let them know. I would also keep the camera active and turn the delay as short as possible in case the thief turns the camera on. You might get lucky and get a pic of him or a plate number or something. Did the Spartan get a pic to you before he/she got it?

    Joan,

    SIM cards or SD cards?

Post that photo of the thief on FB and you may get an identity pretty quickly. We had trespassers and the sheriff’s dept wasn’t in any hurry to identify them for some reason, but once I posted on FB, it didn’t take long for me to have all four identified.

I detest thieves. I hope you catch him/her!

I did report it but you are right. Not heard a word from the sheriff. Appreciate the comment on short delay. Will do that right now

I also have a go cam stolen. I paid for the one year of app use on it. I don’t want to close it out Incase the thief or someone he sells it to turns it on and I can get a picture to locate it. FWC is looking into it also. My question is I would like to purchase a new cam. Can the unused app account be transferred to the new camera?

The premium credits for the premium service and app use aren't specific to a camera, so if you purchased a years worth of credits whatever is still remaining will be used for the new camera when it needs them automatically.
