    This is only for people who have Verizon 3G cameras that are not currently activated. If yours is on your Verizon account or using a Spartan data plan and working, the email doesn’t apply to you.

    I think what you are describing is a reset or data reboot rather than a reactivation. Reactivation refers to a camera that has been removed from the account and is not in service and you want to put it back in service. Should your camera quit working between now and whenever Verizon sunsets 3G service in your area, you’ll have to contact Verizon just as you’ve done in the past.

    I think Verizon has called it a reprovision/reactivation.  Attached is the process I go through when I have this issue.

    That’s good information, thanks for sharing. It’s not the same thing that’s mentioned in the email, though. The email refers to actual data service and getting new data service for a Verizon 3G camera that does not currently have data service.
