Email From Spartan About Verizon 3G Activation
I received an email from Spartan today indicating they would not be activating any 3G cameras after June 24th. Two questions: 1. Does this apply for cameras whose service is with my existing Verizon account, or only those through Spartan Camera? 2. Every so often one of my cameras has to be reactivated because of some sort of blocking criteria. I have had to go through this with Verizon many times. If that happens again after June 24th, will I be able to have that camera reactivated?

This is only for people who have Verizon 3G cameras that are not currently activated. If yours is on your Verizon account or using a Spartan data plan and working, the email doesn’t apply to you.
I think what you are describing is a reset or data reboot rather than a reactivation. Reactivation refers to a camera that has been removed from the account and is not in service and you want to put it back in service. Should your camera quit working between now and whenever Verizon sunsets 3G service in your area, you’ll have to contact Verizon just as you’ve done in the past.
