4G cam on 3G net

Can a 4G ATT cam work on a 3G network? Since the camera is more advanced 4G (4th generation) cellular, will it still retain the capability to transmit photos on a 3G network? My gut says yes but can somone with the actually technical knowledge answer this question?

  Yes, the AT&T 4G cameras will work on both 4G and 3G. The other carrier models (Verizon, Bluegrass, CellCom, US Cellular) only work 4G.
