I use an external solar charged battery with 4 AA batteries in the camera. I changed the AA batteries and came home and the pictures now show 1/1/2017 as the date. Can I correct this remotely or do I have to be at the camera?

  Make sure the time zone is set in the app then request a setting update from the app. The date will reset if the camera resets for some reason.
