Hats Off to William and Rob
Running a total of eleven wireless cams for 2019. Thought I'd get a little coaching from tech support prior to beginning to boot my Spartan cams up for deer season this year. Called tech support on 7-11-2019, spoke with Rob. Surprised me, actually got a tech and didn't have to listen to the music or leave a message! Rob walked me through the reactivation for one of my new cams, taught me how to update firmware OTW and manually, and I was especially grateful learning how to avoid "BuyaSession," and never once made me feel like an idiot. Today I received the new Spartan SIMS cards Rob sent me and tonight I had time to boot up two more of my cams. Updated firmware manually, uploaded settings and set my guests like Rob coached me how to do. App works, and I'm three for three on bring cams online without incident. This afternoon I had a few random questions regarding best practices for saving power, external power supplies, etc. so I called Spartan Tech Support again. Left a message, and much to my surprise only a few minutes later I received a quick call back from "Professor Wireless" himself, William! The surprise was not that the Professor called back, but that he called me back so quick. In my book, William is A#1, give the man a raise, no brag, just fact. Bottom line: 2018 was a tough year for Spartan cams on my side of the fence (the user/hunter side), but thus far in 2019 my Spartans are working like they are suppose to and the Tech Support is outstanding. Knowing Eswoope and JohnnyDeerHunter are out there too, if I get in a bind as they saved me in 2018. Fact is you almost lost me in 2018, but based on what I've experienced thus far it appears to me Spartan is on track for a good 2019 in the areas of cams working like they are suppose to, and Tech Support not being overrun by glitches and guys like me who need a little coaching from time to time. So far, so good....appears your on the right track. Season hasn't even started yet. Good luck to you Spartan folks as my freezer is depending on you.
PS - Your $100 price reduction for new 2019 Cams caught my eye also. Time will tell if you have your act together for 2019 like it appears you do thus far.
