SanDisk SD cards, speed on them is 80, not 40 or 48, standard-size card (not microSD in adapter)?

    Firmware is current?

That sort of problem is usually caused by the SD card, but it seems you’ve done your due diligence with trying different ones, formatting in camera, etc.

What signal strength is typically being shown in the status reports?

On this one, you may want to contact tech support. 770-582-0004 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern M-F.

I’ve used SD cards from our other cameras that don’t have any issue and still had the same problem on this camera. I did have micro SD cards with adapters several months ago but have since changed to standard SD’s. Have same issue either way.

    Firmware is current

Signal strength has varied from 1 bar to 5 bars depending on what location on property that we’ve tried. No impact on the problem.

Just because the card works in another camera doesn't necessarily mean it will work in this camera, cell cameras are different in their SD needs. I would try a new SD card and make sure it's a class 10 (this is very important) and 32gb or smaller. I like the 16gb cards. Where are you purchasing your data from? What is the firmware date showing on your app?

Thanks for the response. I’ve tried multiple new SD cards, all class 10. Originally I had a 32gb. After issue happened a couple times, I switched to a 16gb. Issue happened a few more times, and now I’m using an 8gb.

Bought data from buyasession.att.com. Also have plenty of premium credits.

    Firmware is 2019/07/03

Go into diagnostics in the cameras menu and look for APN, go into that APN setting and enter the password 1-2-3-4-5-6. If the APN is set to APNbl change it to APNbr, if it's APNbr change it to APNbl. Hit the OK button when you need to and back out to the main menu. Once back at the main menu turn the camera off and on again and then try sending a manual picture. If it doesn't send the manual pic then change it back. if it does send the picture then turn it to on and see how it does.

Thanks! The manual picture worked so I’ll stick it back out in the woods and see what happens. Appreciate the help!

    Chefwill80,

Did this work for you?  I am having the same exact issue and cannot figure it out...  My camera is 3 hours away and I do not want to waste time anymore, I am pretty frustrated.  I have replaced batteries, multiple SD cards, changed settings, manual picture tests, and still after 2 days in the woods of working perfectly, it quits every time with a load of pictures not sending.  Cell service is totally great, so that is not an issue.  If this worked for you, I guess it is a try, but I am just about fed up ha-ha.  Let me know!

    Kody,

So far it’s working. It’ll be a while before I know for sure. Previously it took days to sometimes weeks before the problem happened. I’ve got it set up behind my house. If it continues to work for another couple weeks, I’ll put it back in the woods and post an update.

    jdeerhunterpics,

It’s been almost a month since I changed the APN, formatted the SD card, and put in fresh batteries. Everything worked fine until 4 days ago. Same issue as before... it sends status updates each night and it is taking pictures but it is not sending pictures. I power cycled the unit and it immediately sent a pic once it powered up but it has not sent a pic since. What is next step?  Thanks again for the help!

Are you buying your data from Spartan? If so, then premium credits aren’t the issue, but if you are buying from AT&T, then have you checked premium credits?

Any pictures showing anything other than P5 on the lower right of the pic? Check some night photos. Did you look too make sure the APN didn't change back? Like Liz said check your credits but I'd be surprised if that's it since it sent a picture. Did you try a manual photo in set up mode?

Thanks for the quick response! All pics show P5, day & night. I have zero remaining credits but current credit doesn’t expire until 9/25/2019. I just checked and APN is still set at what I changed it to on last attempt at resolving this (APNbr). Camera just sent a pic on my 3rd pass in front of sensor at 15yrds. Manual photo worked.

Can you leave it turned on and see if it starts working reliably after a little while?

Will do. If the last year is any indicator, it will temporarily work fine now that I’ve reset everything. The issue has been that it will work reliably for several days to a few weeks and then will abruptly stop sending pics until I remove and replace batteries and/or manually format the SD card, so now that I’ve done those things tonight, it will likely work for another short period and then stop again

Do you have the format option in your app in the status report for that camera?

Yes, that showed up on one of the recent updates.

    jdeerhunterpics,

My camera has stopped sending pics again. It sent 6 pictures in the last two days. I just pulled the card and there are over 20 pics in that time period. Full signal, full batteries, correct size and speed SD card, tried two different APN’s, different batteries, different locations, etc. We have 3 Spartan’s on the property and this has been the only one to give us trouble. I’ve been battling this issue since last hunting season. I’ve called tech support, posted here, and I’ve exhausted every possibility that’s been proposed. What’s the process for getting this camera replaced? Hunting season is right around the corner and I’d love to have this put to bed.
