How can I talk to a human being at Spartan Cam?

    As I mentioned,  I have left multiple messages and I have not received a call back.  It has been about 3 house since since my first message and I think it is reasonable to expect a call back in less than 3 hours.  I have a camera that needs a firmware update,  which they have sent me.  I cannot get it to download onto either of my computers and need their help to figure out how to do do it.  I don't even want to go into just how inconvenient it has been to learn that I need this update to utilize their camera.

    They return the calls in the order that they receive them so they won't even know that you called until they get to the call tag. What happens when you click on the update that they sent you? What is your camera model and is there anything special about the download or is it just the most recent for your camera? Who did you talk to that sent you the update?

    I visited with Robby (who was very helpful) and the camera is 7 hours away 5 miles deep into a wilderness area.  I don't know if there is anything "special" about the download but it will NOT download onto either of my computers.

    Here's a list of the current firmware updates. Make sure that you get the one for your exact camera model. After the firmware is on the SD card make sure that it doesn't have a number in parenthesis after the update number. That will mean it's a copy and it won't work. When the update is on the card you may be able to see the numbers and tell if it's the same version that you were sent. Hopefully Robbie gets back to you soon. If you want to forward me the email from Robbie I can see if I can get it to open or maybe what the version is. My email is johnny.lockburner@spartancamera.com

    I appreciate your help but apparently you are not understanding my issue.  I have spoken with Robby and he has sent me the correct firmware update for my camera.  The problem is that I cannot get it out of the e-mail onto my desktop in order to put it on an SD card.  I have tried multiple times on multiple computers and I have had other people try as well.  

    While typing this e-mail....another person in my office may have figured it out........I am HOPING they have....

    The person in my office GOT IT!!!  I am still pretty disappointed with number of things as it relates to Spartan Cameras that I will address with them directly.

    If you are unable to do the Over The Air firmware update that you request from the app, you’ll want to download from the page that Johnny linked for you. I’m glad you were able to get the file saved from email. I’m curious what steps it took for a successful download. Johnny and I have downloaded FW updates both from the FW downloads page and via email (that’s how we get FW updates for cameras we test) and have not had the problems that you’ve experienced.

    This is the busy time of the year. Calling and emailing multiple times doesn’t get your call answered any faster. In fact, it slows response time because each message has to be processed, including those you made after the one that actually was returned.
