    Did you get both a receipt and an activation email? Sometimes the activation emails are delayed. If you got an activation email, does your camera pass the Hello test? With the camera in setup and showing bars, press the Menu button, scroll over to the fourth (last) tab, then down to Diagnostic, then choose Hello test. If the Hello test fails the camera doesn't have a data plan active yet.

    BTW, the network connection means that it has signal, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it has a data connection and can use that signal.
