External battery ???

So it says to run a 6V external battery but when you run AA batteries it’s actually 12 volts ? So can u run a 12 V external battery??

  No you cannot run 12 volts directly to a GoCam. Those AA's are actually 3 banks of four batteries so they are only supplying 6 volts to the camera. The GoCam Ghost is a 12 volt camera but the standard models are not.

  To add to what Johnny says, you can use a 12 V battery IF you use a Spartan Camera battery box.

  Does your battery box have a built in voltage regulator (6 v)?

  The Spartan box for the standard models (6v cameras) has a voltage regulator.
