Cameras not working after set up

The screen will go blank when you turn the camera to on, that's normal. Will the camera still send a test photo or did it just send the one? What camera model is it and where did you purchase your data from? Also make sure that the SD card is 32gb or smaller and class 10. When you turn the camera from setup to on does the green light on the front of the camera blink for a few seconds?

There’s no status report? With the current model cameras, every time the camera sends a photo, it also sends a status report.

Something else to check after you get the cameras working on the app is that the firmware is current.

One of the 3 doesn't have an SD card yet, so we can tackle that one later.  The 2nd one is sending pictures to the site but does not register battery level or signal level.  The 3rd one is not sending pictures nor showing battery level or signal level.

The green light does flash for a minute after we restart them.  They are running on US Cellular for service.

The ones with the SD cards will send the test photo.

For the one that's not updating the status report hit the refresh command history tab. For the one not sending pics try the SD card from the camera that is sending photos

    Are these GC-USC or GC-U4G?

If these are the 3G cameras (GC-USC), then you need to request a status report, trigger a photo, and the status info should update. The 3G cameras only update status info when status reports are requested (including status report scheduled events). Now if it’s the 4G cameras, I’m not sure what would cause that because those cameras send a status report with every picture.

I have tried to push out the firmware updates to the devices through the website, but they all just sit and don't seem to be completing.  I do appreciate the help.  We left a voicemail for Spartan to call us back hours ago with no response yet.

Cancel all pending commands in camera management. Then request a status report and then take and send a manual picture, see if the status report on the app updates then. Make sure your time zone is set in the camera settings on the app.

Unless the camera contacts the server, the firmware update won’t happen. After you get the status report updated, schedule the firmware update, then take/send another manual photo to force the camera to contact the server and download the firmware. Watch the screen.

You can request the update from the app, on the status report page.

    What model camera? GC-what?

I cancelled all pending commands, updated the time zone, took a picture and sent it.  The picture shows up on the website, but the status for battery and signal still did not update.

Try doing a settings update now that the time zone is set, then request the status report and then take and send the manual picture. You might have to send two manual pics.
