    Is your cell phone ATT? If it is that may be the problem, sometimes ATT delays or blocks the pictures for a period of time. Did you check the portal to see if the phone is still checked off in the delivery list?

    They are all 4 verizon and are checked in the delivery list.

    You can try adding a different number to your list temporarily to make sure everything on the portal is working the way it should be.

    You can also go to this link and enter your phone number as an email address as it appears in the portal delivery contacts and verify the email.

    I am having the same problem since around 8pm est yesterday with the AT&T camera. I have a feeling it is something on Spartans end.

    Sheliniski, are you talking about getting the pictures by way of text? Is your cell phone ATT? Are you using the app too and if so is that receiving photos?

    I suspect there is something going on with Verizon’s text delivery of photos. I have one AT&T camera that sends to both the app and text to my Verizon phone. Got the app picture fine, but not the text picture.

    Actually, I take that back, the pictures are available in the app, but I didn't get notified by the app that they were there. What do I need to do in order to get texts on my Verizon phone again?

    My 9 PM yesterday and 9 AM today event photos came to the app but not to my Verizon phone number. I’ve done a couple of “Take photo now”, both came to the app, neither to the phone number. For the second one, I added a gmail address and it came to the gmail address, too.

    I have reported that there is possibly a problem with text delivery to Verizon phones.

    Exact same thing happened to my cameras last night. Got photos on the app but none texted to me. 2 others Verizion phone of friends didn’t receive text either. Both check in my delivery. All 6 cameras sent no text.

    Ive been banging my head against the wall with this same issue too. Was on the phone for a solid 30 minutes just a bit ago with Spartan and they were telling me it was most likely a Verizon issue, Verizon says its not. Camera quit texting photos last night but still took them. I changed my recipients to include my email and they come through fine there just no longer in the form of a text. Pretty aggravating to deal with as the text are much easier to view in areas of poor service.

    I'm seeing some other reports of this as well, it has to be something with Verizon if you are still getting pics through the app and email. The camera doesn't send directly to your phone. It sends the pictures to the portal where they are then sent to email (text) addresses and the app.

    Same I am receiving all photos via email & app. My son who has sprint is receiving the text pics today but as of last night and today neither or our verizon phones are receiving the text pics.

    Any suggestions ?

    Johnny I’m having the same problem I did the other again. Like the other comments. My two Verizon cameras yesterday quit sending pics and status report to my email. Pics are on portal/app. I deleted all email addresses and saved. Then went back and put the original email address I changed last week. Did take photo now and got pic on app but no email.

    Just to clarify, if the pictures are getting to the portal the camera is doing it's job so it's not an issue with Verizon and the cameras. It seems to be related to Verizon cell phones and their text messages. Realityvideoman I'm not sure why you are having issues with the email, is it a Gmail or Yahoo account? I can't remember who your host is.

    First time it was a .me apple email that quit. Swapped to a gmail and it worked for a week or so now it’s quit. Swapped back to the apple email and still nothing there.

    I agree with you. Everything is working correctly except my phone is not receiving the texts or the camera is not sending the text to my phone.  It worked fine last night

    Has the code for verizon phone numbers changed to receive texts?

    Can we please get something straight.

    The cameras are not texting your phone. The cameras send the pictures to the portal. The portal (web site) then sends the pics to the app and/or via text. If the pictures are on the portal, then the camera has done its job (which Johnny said earlier). The text problem is between the Spartan portal/server and the phone carrier’s server. What, exactly, that problem is, we don’t know right now. The tech people have been notified.

    Freckles I would say that is correct, don't waste your time. I did just get one picture texted to me so maybe Verizon is straightening things out.

    I gave up on mine and switched to premium so I can get pics through the app. Any ideas on why my commands to update settings would be pending for hours now? Am I doing something wrong? New go App user so go easy on me.

    Wooley,

    The camera won’t get your settings update until the next time it contacts the server, which will be when it takes a picture or sends a status report (at midnight).

    The easiest way to force a setting change is to take/send a photo manually to make sure that the camera is sending properly, then request the settings update, then take/send another manual photo to get the camera to contact the server. It will make the changes.

    Make sure that you set the time zone.
