    How's the battery power on the camera? Does anything happen when you turn the camera to set up? Does the green light blink on the front of the camera when in setup or turned to on?

    Ok none of my original post is showing up. Sorry. I am not sure why it did not show.

     

    This camera was working. I just put it out 9 hrs away in Kansas in a remote location with full signal. It has full bars. It sent me two videos while I was setting it up and one later when I walked in front of it.  It also gave me a status update.

    I updated the firmware OTA and it has not worked since.  The batteries are new and I have a backup battery hooked to the camera.

    I tried a settings update after it stopped talking to me from the firmware upgrade but it appears to be offline now and will not reset or talk anymore.

    Is there any way to wake it up or do anything versus manual intervention

    The firmware upgrade seems to have killed it.  The firmware upgrades shows to have completed in the command history but I have not received anything from the camera since.

    When did you do the update and just double check and make sure that you are not receiving status reports.

    I received status reports from all of my other cameras. I was receiving these from this camera but it stopped. I checked my junk folder just in case.

    I am pretty sure I am screwed and I will have to manually interact with the camera to get it to work again.

    No more remote firmware updates if they are not any more stable than this.

    I was hoping there might be a way to wake the camera somehow.

    I called them but all are busy. 

    I checked.  All of the status reports showed up but this one.  I have them set for 12:00

    Yes it is all good. All other cameras are working.  I have had this one working since last year and moved it to this location just this past weekend.

    I have these added to my wife's cell service.

    It can't hurt to double check, I have seen where Verizon accidentally turned off service on a few cameras.

    Tried calling Tech support again but they are all too busy.  I can see why.  I am guessing they are having issues with the APP as they are scheduling another upgrade on the 22nd.

    If you do go to the camera I would take the firmware with you on a clean class 10 SD card (32gb or smaller). And of course fresh batteries.

    The only thing I can think of is maybe a flaky memory card. I had a friend who had one quit working when his memory card failed out of the blue.  I am just guessing at this point.

    Strange it was working and sent me several videos and then just stopped after the firmware upgrade.

    Do you know the class and size of the SD card? How are the pictures/videos numbered on the portal? Are they sequential or all the same number? Any chance it stopped sending before the firmware update?

    Yeah I will swap it out with a different one that is working.  I can't afford the drive and walk without knowing I have a good one in hand.

    No the last video was that day and I set the upgrade around 8:00 PM that night. The firmware update didn't happen until it did the status update at 12:00 the next day.

    You were running video only? (Just curious. That shouldn’t have anything to do with it.)

    So you didn’t get a status report after the FW updated.

    I started it in camera mode and sent a test pic. I used the app to switch it to video mode while testing it and that part worked fine. I then took a couple videos and manually sent those. I set the camera to auto on tree. I triggered it one last time after I finished hanging stand in video mode.
    That night I set it update the firmware and it shows it completed it the next day during the 12:00 status update. It hasn’t done anything since that time

    If you set the camera to auto in the settings it's not going to send to the app or the portal. Did you enter an email address in the camera itself?

    The camera switch slide to on.
    This camera was working sending to the app. I could see the pics and videos
