I am going to send my Verizon LTE camera to Iowa for a month or so ahead of time where I am going hunting. I know that Verizon service is spotty there. If the camera is not getting cell service when put out it will still take the pics and keep them on the SD card wont it?

  It will but you'll probably go through batteries quicker than usual. What model camera?

  Have whoever puts it out take/send a few manual pics. If the screen reports sent for all of them, you are probably good. If it struggles sending them, then have the person putting it out go to the fourth tab and change send mode from instant to off. That will turn it into a regular camera with a cute little antenna for decoration.

  Hopefully that won’t be necessary. My new Note 9 gets no or marginal signal but my Verizon 4G camera (Z4Gb and W4Gb) show 5 bars and work great.

  Make sure your firmware is current.

  Camera model is the GC-V4Gb and it shows firmware is up to date 9/7/18.
