I have never used a phone to save the file to an SD card, only a computer. Format the SD card in the camera, then copy the file to the SD card using your computer.

Are you using Auto (text/email) or Premium? If you are using premium, you can request the Over The Air FW update from the app on the Status Report page. Get the camera online, take/send a manual photo and if you get that, then request the OTA update, then take/send another manual photo and watch the camera’s screen.

Manual update is pretty straightforward unless you are not at all tech savvy.

The newer firmware is probably for connection problems, and connection problems do have a negative effect on battery life. Fingers crossed that this helps. Thanks for letting us know that you were able to update your FW.

So will this update cover all the updates since 2017 ?

There’s only ever one firmware update, not like Windows where it’s pieces and parts every time you turn around. Whatever firmware file that’s posted has everything in it.

I mean one FW update for each model cameras, because there are different firmwares for different models, but there’s only one for any given model and it’s always the latest one.
