Registration failure at&t
I can’t get my registration code. I’m getting full signal and it even says AT&T at the top. Takes a few minutes to connect to AT&T longer than I would think but does connect. But I can’t get code,can’t do hello test and can’t do the fw update. Just need to get camera on my account on my app to get it up and going.

If the Hello test isn’t working, the camera doesn’t have a data plan (or it has a SIM problem or an antenna problem, but you’ll usually get some sort of error message in that case). Did you get a receipt for your purchase? I think you are also supposed to get an email when the plan is activated, which is usually shortly after you purchase, but sometimes takes a little while.

I know with a Verizon plan, a customer got both an invoice email and an activation email. Have you looked online under wireless subscriptions to make sure this plan is listed. The camera not passing the hello test generally means there isn’t a data subscription so I’m wondering if the plan just isn’t active yet. I don’t think the problem is with the camera.

Ok now I only got a invoice email not a activation email. But I did just look at my account and the plan is on there saying it is active. What am I going to have to do to make sure it’s the camera. Also if that is what’s the problem how do I go about getting the warranty replacement?

Are you using a name brand class 10 (little number in a circle) 32 G or less standard size SD card, formatted in the camera?
Try the hello test again.
You can update the FW manually using the instructions here, below the table that lists the FW.

We may need the camera’s IMEI at some point to get someone to check on the status of the data plan, but not right now.

Yes I have a scandisk as card class 10. I always have used this kind. I formatted the card in a computer and with the camera. I will try and do it manually and see what happens then. But yes jdeer I have always got my plan threw spartan. I will say this though. I had deleted my camera off my profile and had to add it back to even get the plan. Had a whole lot of problems getting it back on my account. Keep telling me my sim and cam number was being used already. But I finally did get it back on and got the plan. Had to wait till the next morning to get the service on the cam. So I went straight to the woods with it. Got out there and ran into these problems. So I just left and told myself I want take it till it sends pic at home.

I’m not to sure what your talking about defaulting it. But I am able to get full signal and it says AT&T at the top middle. I went to the website and tried to do the fw on there but couldn’t figure it out. Downloaded the web thing but could get it to being up anything when I tried DL to software. Only thing I know is I didn’t have the camera on just had it plugged into a usb.

I just tried the default settings. The I tried to register it, hello test and fw all failed. On register it is saying registration failed. I will have to do the sd card download when I get to my computer. But I will try it then and see if it fixes it. But I still am getting connection at least full signal and saying AT&T at the top.
