No SIM

Received a new GOCam this week with no SIM card in box. I tried one from Verizon but it’s not working. I’ve already bought a data plan through the app. I’m assuming I need a spartan SIM card to make it work. Thanks Tim Whatley

    I installed the sim I got from my local Verizon and then bought the data from the spartan app. The camera won’t register and the hello test fails also. I didn’t buy the data from Verizon.

    OK, might need to register that SIM card with Spartan (different than activation) I'm checking now.

    That is a model for BlueGrass, CellCom, etc. A Verizon SIM probably isn’t going to work with it.

    There should have been a trifold card in the box and the SIM should have been in the trifold. You would add that camera to your cell phone plan. Spartan only sells plans for AT&T and Verizon.

    Did you order it directly from Spartan? What does it say on your order paperwork?

    No I ordered it from Planet optics. It’s the same one on the paperwork. I must have clicked on the wrong one. I’ve never heard of those cell providers.
