The paddle antennas will work on the 3G cameras. I think they may provide marginally better signal, and I’m using them on almost all my 3G cameras, but they’re not going to work miracles. I still have 1 bar on most of my 3G cameras.

Ok, thank you for the honest feedback. I have the same signal strength throughout the property. Since I started using Spartan cameras in 2013, I always had poor service, 0 to 3 bars at best. When I started using the new 4G cameras on the property, I started getting 5 bars at all times. I was thinking about buying 6 4G antennas for my 3G cameras if I would obtain a significant amount of signal strength.

I have some cameras that it helps, others that I see no difference in the amount of bars but it could be helping those, not really sure and one location where the 4g paddle antenna gives me less bars of service than the 3g pencil antenna. You just have to try it and see. From what I've seen and heard from others in most cases it can help a little but usually doesn't make things worse.
