Camera not getting updated setting or firmware

My camera has been sending pictures pretty regularly to me. Couple days ago I put in a change and it has been just sitting at pending. Also the firmware has been sitting at pending for almost 5 days now. Are these commands ever going to get completed. I was able to request one full size picture from the camera, it tooka few days to get to me. Is this normal behavior for these gocams lte cameras?

    Typically, your request happens after the next time the camera contacts the server after you make the request. Occasionally, it may take a couple of contacts but it shouldn’t be days.

    Low batteries, poor signal strength, and bad SD cards can all cause the problems you are seeing.

    What type of batteries are you using? Are you seeing any power level other than P5 on the picture info strips?

    are you using a name brand SD card, class 10, 32 G or less, standard size (not microSD in adapter), formatted in the camera?

    You may have to do a manual firmware update depending on how old the firmware on the camera is, try deleting all of your pending requests and then just request a settings up or status report and see if that goes through.

    Have you looked at the command history today? It looks like a change has been made so that requests are cancelled after 3 unsuccessful attempts and there is a message to that effect. I’m wondering if your command history shows anything like that.

    I still show them pending today. I just put the camera out a week ago using an external battery box with 2 12 ah batteries. I put an Sandisk extreme 32 gb card in there. It seems to be functioning as the pictures are saving on the card in sequence. Before I put it out last week I had updated it locally using the SD card and it seemed to take, but I guess one came out between them and now. I can try to cancel the firmware upgrade that was requested on the 13th and see if that jars anything loose.

    I just found out that it’s only video requests that show that. Which model camera? GC-what?

    It's a a4gb. I canceled both the firmware upgrade and the setting update. Then did a retrieve setting which it did fairly quick. Then updated the settings and that completed fairly quick too. Looks like maybe that firmware thing had it stalled
