Are these cameras that you just put out today or not? What models are the cameras? GC-What?
The video-capable cameras (all 4G models and the ATTxb) send status reports every time they contact the server. The older 3G models only send status reports when requested. By default, that’s at midnight.
Sice you didn’t provide any info about your cameras, it’s impossible to say what is causing the problem but we can probably figure it out.

Hopefully by now the status has updated. The 3G cameras only update status when requested, and the default status report scheduled event is at midnight. If you want it to update more than once a day, use the scheduled events in the settings to set some other status report times.
If you change batteries and want it to update right then, request a status report then take/send a manual photo (camera in setup and connected to the network, point it at something, press OK to take pic, OK again to send pic, watch screen).
